After a long desire for the presence of the Sisters of Saint Bridget in the Holy Land and following in the footsteps of Saint Bridget, a Pilgrim in 1372, the Sisters of the Order of the Most Holy Savior of Saint Bridget arrived on January 3, 2002. Thanks to a providential offer of a house in Bethlehem, located in the heart of the old city, a 10 minute walk from the Basilica of the Nativity.

The house with its unique architecture features the artistic combination of the ancient and the modern, which makes it a little oasis of silence and meditation that facilitates physical and spiritual rest.

The Sisters of Saint Bridget welcome individuals or groups of pilgrims and visitors travelling to the Holy Land who seek to deepen their faith and rekindle their spirit. The house has:

• -14 rooms and 27 beds with private bathrooms and wi-fi connection
• - A large, spacious meeting and conference room
• - Dining room and lounge
• - Library and reading room
• - A panoramic terrace towered by a statue of our Blessed Lady
• - A unique Chapel where the Sisters spend four hours every day: praising God, praying the Divine Office, solemn Eucharistic celebration, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and prayerful supplication for God's gift of unity and peace.

Direction:Mary's House is located in the quarter called "Hosh Al-Qattan" or "Madbaset" between Salesian Street and Pope Paul VI Street. To reach the house from Pope Paul VI street, take the staircase down that is hidden behind a music shop between houses number 58 and 62. Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, the house is immediately on the right. Ring the doorbell on the large iron gate.
